Stoke

The Beatty Ranch, owned and farmed by Mike Beatty for over 30 years, is home to the oldest plantings of cabernet sauvignon on Howell Mountain. Over the years, this vineyard site has become known for producing some of the best cabernet on the mountain, supplying fruit to Randy Dunn (Dunn Vineyards), Ted Lemon (Littorai/Howell Mountain Vineyards) and Bruce Scotland (Cornerstone Cellars) among others. The acclaim that this vineyard and the wines produced from it have received is due in part to Mike’s efforts in farming for the highest quality possible, and simply to the unique terroir the ranch possesses.

Stoke is the result of a partnership between long-time friends Jim Kopp and Rob Fischer, whose dream to make wine, and the good fortune that brought them Beatty Ranch fruit have manifested themselves in the form of some truly delicious cabernet sauvignon.
